Hi, I’m KATIE!

Hey there! I'm Katie Ference, the creative behind Bubbly & Bright Event Design. As a North Carolina native with a passion for weddings, events, and florals, I've had the joy of bringing celebrations to life across the country, from the Carolinas to New York, Colorado, and beyond.

My journey into wedding and event florals was one with many twist and turns. Before diving into this creative world, I worked as an Emergency Medical Technician. That experience taught me invaluable lessons about patience, kindness, and staying calm under pressure – all skills that I bring to every event I design. Working as a wedding planner for 4 years also enabled me to learn not only the industry but also how to pay attention to the quality of every detail.

On top of answering questions, she provided so much insight into wedding planning and timeline management. It was honestly such a lifesaver to have her on our team. She beautifully decorated and coordinated our big day (and she let us borrow a few of her own beautiful decor pieces). It was very reassuring to be able to rely on her to handle any problems we ran into during the wedding.   • Katie was hands down the best wedding planner I could’ve asked for. Always willing to help with anything and everything, no matter how big or small the project or how last minute, she wanted to help. Her laidback personality is comforting and reassuring during the craziness of both planning a wedding and then the day of the wedding. She’s also a-talented florist so we had her do our flowers as well. She knocked that out of the park, too! She just made everything so simple for us and put on a wedding for us that exceeded our expectations and we would recommend her to any family, friend, or stranger! Katie is the best!
